Help To Moms is a durable medical equipment supplier serving expecting and new mothers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit helptomoms.com and its subdomains (including insurance.helptomoms.com), submit a form on our site, contact us, or interact with our advertising.
Important — how this policy relates to HIPAA: If you become a patient or customer of Help To Moms, the health information we maintain about you is protected health information (PHI) governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, available on our Terms & Conditions page. Where this Privacy Policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices both apply to the same information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls. This Privacy Policy governs information collected through our website and marketing activities generally.

Information you provide directly. When you complete an eligibility or coverage check form, request a product, sign up for updates, register for an event, or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Date of birth and pregnancy due date
- Health insurance carrier, plan, and member/policy ID
- Physician or OB-GYN name and practice contact information
- Language preference
- Any other information you choose to provide in messages or form fields
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

- Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase or of receiving products or services.

- Legal and safety: to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Help To Moms, our customers, or others
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
Vendors that handle protected health information on our behalf are required to sign Business Associate Agreements as required by HIPAA.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with our legal, regulatory, payer, and accreditation obligations (which for medical records and claims may be several years), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including SSL encryption on our website forms and access controls on systems containing customer information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to third-party websites and services (for example, our retail store, payer websites, or event registration pages).
